Celebrating Economic Excellence

Presented by Bank of America

This event celebrates Martin’s best and the companies that contribute to the Martin County economy. From many different sectors, small or large, profit or non-profit, this event honors those companies that have paved the way for others through innovation, leadership, and outstanding economic achievements.

Eight diverse categories of companies or leaders will be honored, from those new to the market and poised for greatness to those long established, from headquarters to entrepreneurs and youth entrepreneurs. Each one sets even higher standards that inspire others to greater heights.

On September 26, the BDB Selection Committee met to review the dozens of nominations submitted for the 2024 Martin County Business Awards. More than 30 nominations were submitted for seven different categories.

“Every year, the slate of nominations gets increasingly impressive, and this year, more manufacturers than ever were nominated,” says Tammy Matthew, Bank of America Treasure Coast Market Executive, Senior Vice President, and Selection Committee Chairperson. “Our local manufacturers are not only introducing world-class innovations to our community, but they also play a critical role in job creation, developing a workforce with higher earning potential, and bringing economic stability and resilience to the community. All of this is incredibly important and why we want to showcase these businesses.”

All nominees are now posted on the 2024 Business Awards event page, and winners will be announced later in October. The BDB would like to thank Bank of America for their presenting sponsorship, the BDB board members, and members of the public who participated in the selection process, including (L-R) Bill West, West Advisory, William Snyder, Evergreen Private Care, Eric Kiehn, C&W Technologies, Susan Rabinowitz, Bank of America, Tammy Matthew, Bank of America, William T. Corbin, BDB, Lauren Abbot, Oceanwide Electronics and Ted Astolfi, Economic Council of Martin County.

The BDB would like to congratulate all the 2024 nominees.
