Industrial Development Authority

Fostering Economic Development

The Martin County Industrial Development Authority is created to help foster economic development projects.  This is accomplished primarily by offering low-interest tax-exempt loans to qualified projects.  Projects typically involve major capital construction which would benefit from low interest rates.  As a general guideline, projects ordinarily exceed $5 million in size.

Given the current interest rates, companies with new construction or expansion projects should consider this means of financing. The MCIDA has a team of advisers and consultants who can assist you in evaluating your project at no out-of-pocket expense to your company.

To find out if your expansion plans qualify, contact the Business Development Board at 772.221.1380 or email office@bdbmc.org
