The Advanced Manufacturing Hub at Indian River State College has partnered with the Career Source Research Coast to make training accessible to companies through the Industrial Manufacturing Technician, a registered apprenticeship program. “Substantially reducing the cost,” says Natalia Chekhovskaya, executive director of the Advanced Manufacturing Center at IRSC. “Our mutual goal is to remove as many barriers as possible so that our manufacturing community can upskill its personnel.” The next cohort is scheduled for August 26-November 21, 2024.
The Certified Production Technician in the Leadership Academy Series is designed to provide individuals with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in manufacturing and production environments. This comprehensive program covers various essential topics to equip participants with the skills required in modern manufacturing industries. The course leads to the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technician certification. (MSSC CPT 4.0)
