Workforce is the currency of economic development

Without a skilled and adaptable talent pipeline, even the strongest business climate cannot support long-term growth. That is why this recent article from Florida Trend titled Florida’s Talent Pipeline: Meeting the Needs of Business caught my attention. It highlights how Florida is aligning education, training, and industry to meet the evolving workforce demands of employers.

In Martin County, we are proud to be out front in this work through the REACH Center, a collaborative initiative that will provide hands-on training and nationally recognized certifications in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, marine technology, and other high-demand sectors.

The REACH Center brings together education, industry, and community partners to build the skilled workforce our employers need now and in the future. It is not simply an investment in a training facility. It is an investment in people, opportunity, and the economic strength of Martin County.

When we invest in workforce, we invest in our future.
