In 2024, the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast hosted its 50th annual Stuart Boat Show, which saw nearly 10,500 attendees. This resulted in a higher share of visitor spending in the accommodations and food category and a 21% increase in the average visitor spending in the retail category.
The annual event, typically the second weekend in January, is named one of the TOP 20 EVENTS in southeast Florida by the Southeast Tourism Society.

This initiative will proactively address the critical workforce needs of the marine industry, empowering hundreds of employers and high-demand skilled professionals. By bridging the gap between in-demand careers and a highly-skilled workforce, the Institute will drive economic growth and ensure the long-term success of the region’s vital marine sector.
