Access to Capital Workshop
Demystifying “Access to Capital” for business owners and entrepreneurs.
Obtaining money or resources for a business is essential for starting up, growing, and sustaining it. Sourcing capital can come in many forms and ways. From traditional loans and leveraging personal credit to government grants and other little-known opportunities, our Access to Capital Workshop was designed to demystify how to find the funds a small business needs to thrive and answer your questions.
Nearly 40 people attended this FREE half-day, in-person workshop, which explained the capital continuum, methods, sources, and how a business should prepare to gain access to capital markets. Expert presenters covered the various lending economic tools ranging from small start-ups to multi-million-dollar projects. Topics included micro-loans, small business tools, alternative loan sources, private investors, preparing a fund request, and updating a business plan.
The goal was simple: to help address the needs of a business searching for financial resources to grow.
